From first contact to a case

Turn “can you help?” into a connected case.

A new support request rarely arrives with a device ID attached. Forge connects the customer's story to contacts, companies, cases and the right access handoff.

Is Forge right for your team?

Start with one real support case.

A good fit when
New support requests arrive before you know the device, and your team needs customer facts, case history and access handoffs to stay connected.
Start with
Record the contact and problem, open a case, then choose persistent enrollment or attended Rescue for a supported Windows or Linux device.
Know before you start
Rescue is attended and time-bounded. Links expire or can be revoked, customer instructions require review and communication is never sent automatically.

01 / THE WORKFLOW

Record the facts once

Find or create the customer company and contact, then link the case. A contact can exist without a company, and a case can begin before a device is known. Whisper and local agents can help with this intake.

02 / THE WORKFLOW

Choose the right kind of access

Use enrollment for ongoing support through a persistent Daemon, or attended Rescue for a temporary session. Prepare a customer-ready link and instructions appropriate to the supported platform.

03 / THE WORKFLOW

Send a handoff you understand

Review the link, expiry and instructions before sharing them with the customer. Windows uses its executable workflow; Linux uses a package and terminal instructions. Links remain subject to authorization, expiry and revocation.

04 / THE WORKFLOW

Continue with evidence

Once access is established, associate the verified device or session with the case. Investigate before repairing, preserve data when storage failure is suspected, and leave findings and next steps in the case.

Useful boundaries, up front.

Does Whisper only investigate, or can it repair?

Both. Specify a read-only investigation when users must not be disturbed, or authorize a repair with clear scope. Whisper can execute commands and transfer files, verify results and update cases. AI can make mistakes; review consequential work and do not assume every successful command proves a repair.

What happens when the device is offline or a physical check is needed?

The limitation should be reported rather than worked around with a guessed result. A machine must be reachable for remote work. Physical inspection, replacement parts and confirmation of actual printed output still require someone on site.

Do I need to replace my existing local agent?

No. Use Whisper in the browser or Forge Agent CLI with your local agent. The same workspace and device access boundaries apply. Forge provides command and file access, not screen sharing.
