For the repair bench

Six machines on the bench. One technician keeping the whole picture.

The machines are right there in your shop. Let Whisper handle authorized technical investigation, repairs and case write-ups while you handle the physical checks, replacement parts and customer decisions.

Is Forge right for your team?

Start with one real support case.

A good fit when
You manage several Windows or Linux jobs and want each investigation, repair attempt and customer handback tied to the right case.
Start with
Create a case for one bench machine, enroll it or prepare attended Rescue, then ask for evidence before authorizing changes.
Know before you start
Forge does not promise simultaneous AI work across every machine, automatic hardware repair or universal recovery. Queues and physical handoffs remain real.

01 / THE WORKFLOW

Delegate an outcome, not just a command

“Find what's wrong, fix what is within scope, verify it and write up the case. If you cannot repair it, explain the concrete blocker.” Keep each machine and customer's work distinct. Six machines describes a shop workload—not a promise of six simultaneous AI runs; concurrency limits and queues apply.

02 / THE WORKFLOW

Mix investigation with hands-on repair

One machine only needs a quiet diagnosis. Another has an authorized print-service repair. A third needs a physical cable or component check. Whisper can carry the software work forward and make the handback specific when a technician's hands are needed.

03 / THE WORKFLOW

Recover carefully when the installed OS fails

The existing repair Live USB workflow uses local preparation and authenticated Rescue. After you boot and connect the prepared environment, use supported commands to investigate. It is not a one-click hosted ISO or universal Windows recovery product; Secure Boot support and broader recovery coverage remain outside the current boundary.

04 / THE WORKFLOW

Finish with a useful case

Record symptoms, evidence, work performed, verification and any repair blocker. Suspected drive failure calls for preservation-first decisions, not automatic write-heavy repair scans. Prepare a customer explanation for review; Forge does not send it for you.

When repair has to wait

A clear blocker is better than a destructive guess.

A prepared Live USB can provide a working environment when the installed system will not boot. This illustrative case shows preservation-first diagnosis and an honest handback—not a claim that every failed machine can be repaired remotely.

Useful boundaries, up front.

Does Whisper only investigate, or can it repair?

Both. Specify a read-only investigation when users must not be disturbed, or authorize a repair with clear scope. Whisper can execute commands and transfer files, verify results and update cases. AI can make mistakes; review consequential work and do not assume every successful command proves a repair.

What happens when the device is offline or a physical check is needed?

The limitation should be reported rather than worked around with a guessed result. A machine must be reachable for remote work. Physical inspection, replacement parts and confirmation of actual printed output still require someone on site.

Do I need to replace my existing local agent?

No. Use Whisper in the browser or Forge Agent CLI with your local agent. The same workspace and device access boundaries apply. Forge provides command and file access, not screen sharing.
